Smithtown Middle School Robotics Program

2018/2019 School Year

SCOPE Education Services, in cooperation with the Smithtown School District, is pleased to offer the Middle School Robotics Program to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

This program is designed to focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) by engaging students using a hands-on approach to learning. Students will be provided with enriching ways to expand their learning while having fun.

Take part in this exciting robotics program where students will learn mechanical design, construction & teamwork skills. Together, using building elements, motors & sensors, students will build robots and perform competitive challenges. Come help bring robots to life!

PROGRAM FEE:                             $250.00 per student

*Sibling Discount: 20% discount for additional children

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:          Friday, March 22, 2019

REFUND DEADLINE:                     Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Refunds issued prior to March 27th will incur a $10.00 processing fee.

  • Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Registration is accepted on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
  • There is a strict limit of students per club.
  • SCOPE requires a minimum enrollment to run each class.
  • PLEASE NOTE: You will receive 2 email confirmations:

1st Registration Acknowledgement: Automatic email confirming receipt of payment and registration. This email does not guarantee your child’s placement as there is a strict limit of students per club. You will be contacted regarding your registration request due to low enrollment or the class having reached capacity.

2nd Program Confirmation: Confirmation including all of the program details- dates, time, teacher, classroom assignment etc. will be sent via email about 1 week prior to the start of the program. This email will confirm your child’s registration in the program.
